Ever since moving to Arizona 3 years ago, people have been telling us about how amazing The North Pole Experience in Flagstaff is. So we finally decided this year to buy our tickets early and stay at The Little America Hotel. I am so incredibly thankful that we did; what an experience with memories that will last a lifetime.

The North Pole Experience starts out with a bus ride that takes you through a portal to the North Pole, this isn't any normal bus ride though - don't want to take away any of the magic, but just know it isn't a long ride, but it does have a couple twists and turns. Once you arrive in the North Pole you are greeted with snow and Santa's Helpers decked out from head to toe. They take you on a journey inside to the most beautifully decorated rooms of Santa's workshop. Every room has its own theme, story, and allows the kids to engage and let their imagination run wild. It's about an hour in total going room to room, filled with sugar doughnuts, hot cocoa, a bubble dance party, building a bear, loading Santa's sleigh, and ultimately spending one-on-one time with Santa. I would highly recommend everyone who believes in the Christmas spirit, no matter your age, to experience The North Pole Experience at least once in your life.

The Little America Hotel was great, you can tell that they have partnered with The North Pole Experience for years and it really was a well-oiled machine. You don't have to stay at The Little America Hotel, but it is the pick up and drop off spot for The North Pole Experience, so if you are coming from out of town, like we were, it just makes the whole process seamless.

The hotel was well maintained, clean, and had very spacious rooms. We had a king with a couch that converted to a pull-out bed for our daughter. There was space for a mini bar area, a beautiful separate wood desk, a large credenza with TV, and lots of windows for natural light. We ate at the restaurant for a late lunch / early dinner and it was good. The selection of food and quality was decent, but the service really stood out. We had an excellent waiter whom was very attentive and took excellent care of us. The festive cocktails were also fun and delicious! The hotel also had a walking trail decorated with Christmas lights and a kids play area with swings and slides - perfect pit stop for our daughter to get some energy out.
